Our Core Training Sessions...

Welcoming and Inclusive Schools Training
This session gives staff clear, accessible grounding in LGBT+ terminology, legislation, and bullying prevention at primary level, along with practical strategies for challenging discriminatory language and embedding inclusion across policy, curriculum, and everyday practice. Staff leave with 6 concrete steps for building a genuinely inclusive school ethos.

Discussions with Parents: Navigating Effective Communication with Parents and Families
An interactive, staff-led session focused on practical strategies for discussing LGBT+ education with parents and families, covering the legislative framework, wellbeing impacts, and how to build robust, inclusive school policies. Staff work through real scenarios and problem-solving around common concerns together.

LGBT+ Equality Legislation for Schools – from school policy to the classroom
This session clarifies the legal landscape around LGBT+ education, distinguishing statutory duties from guidance and covering key equality, human rights, safeguarding, and RSHE legislation. It translates this framework into practical implications for school policy and classroom practice.

Combatting Gender Stereotypes
This interactive, staff-led session explores how children develop gender stereotypes, their impact on pupils, and how they show up in school settings, both obviously and subtly. Staff gain practical tools to challenge stereotypes and foster a more inclusive environment, with space for peer-to-peer learning.
